The YouAre brand and the Air Balance Beam Tracks full range is manufactured using a revolutionary new internal construction technology that guarantees the highest levels of safety and quality. Thanks to the outstanding ability and experience of technicians combined with European based state-of-the-art production facilities and technology coated fabrics of superb quality using multiple-layers of PVC have been developed successfully and are now being manufactured in Europe especially for YouAre Air Balance Beam Tracks.

The requirements for coated fabrics are becoming more and more diverse, whether they need to be flame-retardant, tear-resistant, anti-static or highly weatherproof. Modern manufacturing technology and quality control of the production processes now guarantees the highest levels of safety and quality. The double-wall fabric is a three-dimensionally woven structure, the two basic fabrics interlinked with numerous spacer threads. Instead of using single linear polyester threads, this new German advanced technology, incorporates a woven, drop-down construction. The result is a much lighter, durable and stiffer platform.

All components of the double-wall fabrics used are compliant with the European Community regulation on Chemicals - REACh no. 1907/2006 (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals). The aim of REACh is to improve the protection of human health and the environment. There are absolutely no prohibited substances, such as lead or cadmium in the fabrics used, making this product unique in the world. The fabrics are manufactured in Germany under the internationally recognised quality norm DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 with air.

Sanne Wevers of the Netherlands used a unique mix of spins and leaps to win beam gold over the two U.S. gymnasts

Sanne Wevers of the Netherlands has won the gold medal, in the women's balance beam finals. Team USA's Laurie Hernandez took silver, and Simone Biles of the United States brought home the bronze medal. Fan Yilin of China kicked off the competition, scoring a 14.500. She was followed by Isabela Onyshko of Canada, who got her routine off to a great start but fell. She did finish strong, but scored a 13.400 due to the fall. Midway through her routine, Team USA's Simone Biles stumbled, putting her hands on the beam to regain her balance. Her routine was otherwise flawless. Biles' routine carried a high degree of difficulty, which helped her score a 14.733 despite the stumble.

The gold medalist was 24-year-old Sanne Wevers of the Netherlands, won with a mix of tricky spins and leaps to maximize every tenth of a point. With the highest difficulty score of the final and the second-highest execution score, Wevers earned 15.466 to win the first Olympic individual medal for a Dutch female gymnast.

Laurie Hernandez of the U.S. finished second. The 16-year-old just entered the senior ranks of competition in 2016, and the Olympics are her first major international competition. On this day exactly a year ago, Hernandez won the all-around title in the junior division of the national championships.
